On a serious note, there are many ways to translate the meaning..

ทำอย่างง่าย/ คล่อง/ สะดวกๆ

มันง่ายจะตาย

มันเป็นเรื่องง่ายๆ

งานหมู/ กล้วย/ หวาน

.. are a few examples.

ง่ายนิดเดียว

What about สบายมาก?

เหมือนปอกกล้วยใส่ปาก Like peeling a banana and putting it in your mouth!!

I don't believe กล้วยกล้วย is particularly childish. It's simply idiomatic, so a closer match in register to "a piece of cake".

In a similar vein there's also หมูหมู.
