Hi, I am moving to China in August but my wife will follow in September. I have been told I need to get a 'Z' work visa which in itself it not a problem. I have a work permit from China, letter of introduction, medical checks etc, etc...My question is: as the visa is only valid for 3 months from the date of application and my wife and daughter need to apply for their visas at the same time as me (they are dependents on my visa) will the Chinese embassy extend the validity of their visa to allow them to arrive in Sept, which is 3 +1/2 months away from now?I have tried phoning the embassy/consulate but spend hours on hold before being disconnected.If anyone has experience of obtaining Chinese visas and can help with this, it would be greatly appreciated!CheersIain
