Where To Have My Sons Birth Certificate Translated Into English

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have a quick question, i need to get a passport for my newborn son (Half Thai / UK)

I am living in Bangkok.

I understand that registering the birth with the UK Embassy is optional (i probably wont do that)

I also understand that i need to have his birth certificate translated from Thai to English.

Can somebody please tell me where i can have this done?

Thank you.

The birth certificate can be translated at a number of translation agencies, there are several near the embassy. It should not be more than 400 baht. And you might need to have the beritcerificate certified by the Thai foreign Ministry, consular affairs at Chang Wattana Road. (close to immigration).
