Help With Phrase

Featured Replies

Hello everybody

My Thai is pitiful, but I am trying. I wonder if someone would be so kind as to help me with a phrase to indicate that someone speaks the same as or speaks like

i.e. You speak like......[another person]. I think it is Khun poot moo-an .... but I'm not sure.

Thanks in advance

Mahatma Gandhi

When you speak you sound the same as him. เมื่อคุณพูดมีเสียงออกเหมือนกัยเขา meua (koon) poot me siang awk meuan gap cow.

Sorry about the transliteration. .

There is a more formal word สำเนียง samniang which you could use instead of siang.

When you speak you sound the same as him. เมื่อคุณพูดมีเสียงออกเหมือนกัยเขา meua koon poot me siang awk meuan gap cow. I think that this would be understood but It might be better to use the verb เปล่ง instead of มี I am not sure.

Sorry you will have to guess the transliteration.
