My wife and I would like to visit Hua Hin for a week in August and get a couple of friends to join us and we're looking for a house or villa to rent. Of course we'd all like the idyllic beach front villa with perfect sand and a large private pool etc. but we're realistic. I guess we could go up to around 25k for the week at the top of our budget. Alternatively we could simply pay 8-12k for a simple house. I'd like something nice though.

The trouble is where to look. I've been to HH a few times and CA but only in hotels. Houses seem harder to find as the websites just don't have enough searchable criteria.

We have transport so if we're out of town a bit that is fine. 500m from the beach is the same as 5km as we won't be walking. Min 3 beds, decent house, got any ideas or agents ?
