Hi All,

I will be in bangkok the following week for a 8d 7n trip. I will like to purchase a microsim for my iphone 4 usage. I went through DTAC and TrueMove website but it seems like their data plans are by minutes. Is there any carrier that has a good coverage in Bangkok, mainly pratunam area that offer pre-paid data plan based on mb/gb? Any advices?

All of the telcos (AIS, DTAC, True) have MicroSIM and there are plans in MB and GB. Just go to their shop (not resellers) and specifically ask them for it.

Worse case, you pay for unlimited for a month that's only 699 Baht.

You'll be able to get 3G; many plans to choose from- maybe 500 baht for 1 GB/60 days or 399 baht for 600 MB (500 MB + 100 MB) 3G for 30 days?
