Russian Tourist involved in South Pattaya bag snatch

PATTAYA: -- A foreign victim of yet another bag snatch was dealt with at Pattaya Police Station on Monday Afternoon. Miss Olga Khmeleva aged 46 from Russia was with a friend at the Pattaya Viewpoint, located on the Pratamnuk Mountain in South Pattaya when two Thai Men came from behind and snatched her shoulder-bag which contained 6,000 Russian Rubles, 11,500 Thai Baht and 800 US Dollars. As the men left the area on their motorbike they were seen to discard the bag which was later recovered by Police who found only 4,500 Rubles and 250 Thai Baht inside.

Well at least they've solved the problem of having to pay rent.
