Air Asia Email Bug!

Featured Replies

I just received this email from Air Asia, that makes no sense to me!

Dear Nicolas,

We will be discontinuing the Vegetarian Fried Rice from 1st June 2011 onwards.

Vegetarian Fried Rice will be replaced with Vegetarian Fried Rice (with Mock Drumsticks)

for all AirAsia QZ flights. pbm-vegedrum.jpg

However, if you would like to have other meals instead, kindly proceed to Manage My Booking to make your changes online or contact our Call Centre.

Additional fees will not be incurred unless the price of the newly selected meal is higher than the price of the original meal.

Wishing you a pleasant flight!

Best Regards,

Catering & In-Flight Management AirAsia Berhad

Did you reserve the veggie fried rice meal on an upcoming flight? If so, then I think they are just informing you that the dish has slightly changed (it now has "mocksticks"). If they don't inform people, then there's always going to be the nasty ones who get upset that they are served exactly what they ordered. They are giving you the chance to change your meal, which is a nice gesture.

If you didn't pre-order this meal, then yes, it was a random & bizarre email! :D

might be that you have ordered their veg. meal(s) in their record.

2 times I used Airasia

I ordered both Veg. meals.

ain't got any e-mails from 'em informin' a new item in the veg. menu.

I got the same email and have no current bookings nor have I ever pre ordered flight meals. I presume they've sent the info out to everyone on their emsil list.
