NGV-Gas Container Explodes After Collision

PATTAYA: -- NGV truck driver was found unconscious after his vehicle crashed into the rear of a parked 18-wheeled truck, causing the fire explosion.

Pattaya, 1 June 2011 [PDN]: At 17.20, Pol. Lt. Col. Winai Horien (Banglamung Police Investigator) was informed of a major accident on Road No. 36 under Ban Pong bridge in the direction towards Pattaya.

Upon arrival at the scene, the collision between NGV-gas truck and 18-wheeled trailer sent black smoke and fire billowing high into the sky, an officer reported.

So it was a container truck, that runs on NGV, typical Pattaya media sensationalism. An NGV truck would probably have blown up the bridge.

"Careless parking"? Is that really an offense or did the policeman just make that up for something to say :lol:
