Can someone explain all of the ways that the word 'piss' is used and what it means...other than 'urine' that is?

Here are a few that come to mind:

Take the piss : make a fool of someone

Piss off : (imperative) go away!

Piss off : (non-imp.) to leave

Piss all over : too beat thoroughly

Piss-poor : of low quality

Pissing contest : a competition of low intellectual status

Weak as piss : not strong (of a liquid)

Piss-up : drinking session

Pissed : (British usage) drunk

Pissed : (American usage) : angry

All piss and wind...big mouth

Pissing against the wind......Not succeeding

AND

Piston Broke................................drunk & skint

1) Means 'very, very easy'

usage as in 'a piece of piss'

2) 'piss artist', which is nothing to do with art, but is to do with being satirical.

3) 'Pissing in the wind'.....i.e wasting your time.

In the General Forum there is a topic called "Slickman vs. Stickman" with the description "Someone taking the piss outa Stick?"

So is Stick 'taking the piss' or is someone else 'taking the piss' out of him?

Who's taking the piss? Stick? or someone else?

"taking the piss" should not be confused with

to piss on your chips (v)

To put yourself at a long-term disadvantage through a foolhardy short-term action. As in "Beckham really pissed on his chips when he kicked that Argie".

nor should it be confused with

to piss like an American fighter pilot (v)

When extremely refreshed, to micturate in a haphazard and inaccurate fashion ie. spraying urine all over the floor, seat, shoes, ceiling, etc.

and it has definately no relation to

piss polo n.

Game whereby disinfectant tablets are pointlessly manoeuvred in a urinal trough by the participant's piss streams.

Posted

and it is not even a distant relative thrice removed of..... ladies look away now please.....

piss flaps n.

1. Labia; beef curtains. 2. interj. Exclamation of disappointment. As in "Oh piss-flaps! I never win the Lottery!"

all definitions courtesy of Rogers Profanisaurus.

one of the funniest books in print.
