Tomorrow night going on overnight train to get my first Thai tourist visa. I would prefer not to have to book a flight out of Thailand, but read they require to see proof you will leave.

Any one have experience of the visa application and can confirm if the onward flight is needed or not.

I did in Vientiane last month & did not need proof of onward ticket, in fact never been asked with all 3 TR's
