Needs Help For Appointment Dates!

Featured Replies

Do anyone have any idea when the appointment dates would open for F-1 visa?? What date and what time would be the best time?????? Thank you!!!!!!

What is an F-1 visa and which country is it for?

Basic NIV info here: http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/non-immigrant_visas.html

Wait time here:

http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/niv_visa_waittime.html

And if you can believe this, only 14 days for an F-1 student visa:

The real PROBLEM, tho, might just be in getting an appointment for the visa interview. There's lots of tales of woes here on ThaiVisa about the backlong at the U.S. Embassy Consulate and difficulties in obtaining an interview slot.

Reckon you'll just have to apply then play the game with the computerized appointment system. Advice seems to be to try in the wee hours of the morning.

I would suggest you camp out on your computer for a few days. We got an appt within 36 hours of making the appt. Further, we were able to change that appt within 24 hours to a better time.

Its not patience, you need to be aggressive in checking slots.

I put some advice up on the board some time ago. Might want to have a look.
