Featured Replies

looking for second hand mini wood lathe around bangkok area.... i tried to look in Rama2 but all machines i saw was huge.....

Hmmm...I think you will have better luck with this in the Bangkok forum. If that doesn't work, PM me and we can try another. Maybe the Do It Yourself forum?

Well, I have been looking for one eversice I moved to Chiang Mai and I finally found a place that is an actual Jet Tools distributer here. They plopped a Jet Product catalog in front of me and told me to look thru it to see if I could find what I wanted. I found the exact model mini that I had back in the states, the JWL-1220VS.

Of course after I asked if they had that one they said no, and they even checked with there main branch in Bangkok. They said that in order for them to bring some here in country that they would have to order like 4-5 of them. (This is probably to make shipping) They also mentioned that they could order any of the mid or full size ones at anytime.

So, it would be possible to get a decent mini lathe, but I would need 4 other people to place an order with me.

Yes, good idea to have a DIY forum to exchange ideas, tips, etc
