Multiple Ed - Can I Check In At Immigration Or Do I Have To Make A Visa Run?

Featured Replies

I have a Multiple Entry Non-Immigrant "ED" Visa good until Sept 2011.

My current stamp expires next month and I was wondering if I can just go down to Phuket Immigrant to check in to get another 90 days, or if I have to leave the country to get another stamp.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys,

You either leave the county and enter again or apply for an extension at immigrations for 1900 baht.

Your school should be able to provide you with necessary documents for an extension.

I got the ED visa through my Muay Thai camp while back in the U.S. and not a Thai school - would it be cheaper and easier just to do a visa run?

Yes, make a border run.
