Funnily enough, it's not such a stupid idea and I think you just might make a killing. You cannot get single or two bar electric fires here at all, so my wife brought a couple of small ones in our container from England. Her family snapped them up, and all the villagers were jeleous. It gets very cold in the Winter in Isaan and the North, a low of around 9 in our area and about 1 or 2 in the far North. In fact I've known it to be down to 11 or 12 in Pattaya three years ago. Yeah I'll sponder you.
