niveknedwob
I have just built a new Win 7 32-bit system and am running IE 8.0.7601.17514. One of my Home tabs is set to www.thaivisa.com. This page causes IE CPU usage to hit 99%. Some other TV 'main' pages have the same effect and I suspect it might be something to do with the advertising banners in the page headings. I don't recall seeing this on other IE installations ... just this new one. Anyone else experiencing similar ?
Crossy
Don't see anything like that, barely making 10% when the page is loading on a bare IE9 setup. That's with an i7 and 64 bit W7 mind.
Supernova
Don't see anything like that, barely making 10% when the page is loading on a bare IE9 setup. Same here. C2D E4400 (OCed) and Win7 Ultimate 32-bit.
MTH
I get a spike a bit over 50% when loading the main TV forum page. For me, it looks like it’s during the load of the ads in the right hand Colum. IE 9, Win 7 64-bit, 4GB RAM.
