Old Overstay,Could This Be A Problem

Featured Replies

A brithish friend of mine wants to come back to thailand, but about 5-6 yrs ago he overstayed his visa about a year.He left on his own accord ( not picked up or anything ) from the airport. He paid a 20.000 baht fine and they ( immagration ) told him it would not be a problem for him to return. So the question is if he were to fly into bkk airport does anybody see him having a problem with immagration. He wants to come for about 20 days and will have a return ticket.Any info would be appreciated so i can relay to him THANK YOU.

Based on the facts you have stated, he won't have any problems with Immigration at the airport.

Going by many reports here he should have no problem.
