thaitanic
When I was in Phuket the labour department used to put a half-page counter stamp in the back of my passport, for each work permit I was issued. Does this happen in Bangkok? Do Thai immigration check it on the way in if you have a non-B visa?
Mario2008
Never heard of this. It is often immirgation that makes a note in your passport as to your reason for stay, but the labour office doesn't write in my passport.
bino
I believe this stopped years ago. They did this on my passport years ago, but not now.since work permit and visa are no longer connected, it is probably irrelevant now.
thaitanic
Thanks. I got one counter-stamp in in 2545 and one in 2549, both from Phuket.
