is it possible to do a visa run to penang and get another 60 day tourist visa and a 90 day one?

i'm hearing mixed stories on what you can do. some people are telling me you can only get 60 day visas back to back if you haven't extended to 90 days, others are telling me you can get 90 day visas back to back

Penang seems unwilling to issue if you had an extension on your last tourist visa.

Cambodia would be a better bet.

There is no 90 day tourist visa .A tourist visa is 60 days, with the possibility to extend 30 days.
