Need to watch some old family movies to see which one I want transfered to CD's. Also a place to do the copying from VCR tapes as well from Super 8 and 16 mm film to CD's.

If you go down the Nong Hoi Road past the Holiday Inn intersection, just before you reach the super highway there is a huge second hand store on the left side of the road and they have lots of electronics and I'm pretty sure they have some VCR's...good luck!

There is a place that copies VCR's on the third floor of Panthip Plaza. I don't know the name, but I am sure that other merchants there will direct you to the proper shop.

It is above Fuji, second floor if I recall correctly but people have said that their 100 baht copy to VCD and 150 baht copy to DVD are expensive....

Hi,

Not sure if you have found a VCR yet.

If not PM me as I have a SONY - Multi-play PAL/NTSC//MEESAM unit.

One thing to be careful of is the storage of the video tapes. Unless they are kept in a dry strorage condition, you run the risk of fungus accumulating on the actual tape.

Cheers
