They're all over tiktok. "We sold our house, took our kids out of school, to come live in Thailand. You can live in luxury, dine in Michellin restaurants, all for the price of a Big Mac." This type of nonsensical low key influencing. They are all peddling from the same coursebook. Namely to attract followers (that's when you can start earning some money) you want to make the viewer want to be you / to be in your situation. So these influencers sitting on a 36 degrees beach in the middle of a UK winter peddling nonsense about selling your home and moving to Thailand will influence some, and make others depressed. They fail to give the big picture. Home schooling for children (some of these lot look like they can't read themselves so hell knows what home schooling they are doing), health insurance, homes are not cheap unless you want a shoe box, etc Dining out in nicer restaurants is not cheap. And it will cost to enjoy some of the perks and entertainment. You have one guy who spent years hating on the UK, despite using that countries income to live nicely in Thailand, now moving back and taking his Thai lass with him ! What happened to all those years of telling us all the UK was awful ?
