I have obtained a tourist visa in the past thru one of the Bangkok based visa run companies. Does anyone know if one can obtain a non imm o visa thru one of these companies and, if so is there a limit to the number of single entry non imm o visas one can obtain in succession, given that they are single entry visas?

You should be able to obtain from any Consulate without need for a 'visa agent' with marriage certificate and copy of Thai ID card/home register. There is no set limit on issue but an Embassy might wonder why at some point. If you can show 100k in a bank account KL will issue a one year multi entry that would only require crossing border every 90 days. If you could show 400k in bank account two months or 40k per month income one year extensions of stay from Immigration would be possible.

and in case of marriage and not funds available you could still extent each entry (visa exempt stamp or tourist visa or non-immigrant-visa) for 60days by going to Thai Immigration with wife and documents.

Normally you can apply Non O visa on trips with visa run company.

However Thai Embassies in Laos and Cambodia will , most likely

issue only Single Entry Non Immigrant Visa.
