July 6, 201115 yr My Thai wife says I should pay no more than 100-150 for a cheap t-shirt or pair of shorts. Whoops. Guess a lot of us have paid more than that, including me. I send her out now to buy clothes for me.

Them cheapo clothes are all the rage in Isaan these days, leaves more money for new mobile phones and gold.
July 7, 201115 yr In both Bangkok and Pattaya I pay 150 baht for a L or XL T-shirt and maybe 50 more for a pr of shirts, usually buying 2 or 3 items at a time. Anymore than that and just move on to the next stall. I'm talking about the Che / band name / beer brand versions. What surprises me is how long they last: I have quite a pile of these at home now. About the same prices in indonesia and Vietnam for the Bir Bintang / HCM designs. Londo
