July 8, 201114 yr Hi, I would like to find out more about the non immigrant education visa option for thailand. My husband and I are British (36 years of age) and we have a 5 month old baby. We are currently on holiday in Thailand. My questions are: 1. If we get a education visa, can we bring the baby with us to Thailand? What kind of a visa will the baby be on then? 2. Can we get a education visa even though we are on a visitors visa at the moment? 3. Do we have to apply for the non immigration education visa from the UK? or can we apply for it within Thailand? 4. It seems like we have to 'report' every 90 days. What does this reporting mean and do we have to do it every 90 days? How much does the reporting cost? 5. Is there a list of all the schools/institutions that is certified by the ministry of education? I did a google search and came up with so many schools. Not sure whether they are all certified. 6. Any idea of how much the non immigrant education visa cost? And how long is it valid for?
July 8, 201114 yr What type of education? A language class or full study university are very different things. 1. There is no overstay for baby so could enter visa exempt or on tourist visa and just stay. 2. In most cases you would have to exit to a Thai Consulate to obtain. 3. No and No. You can apply at any Consulate (they are only outside of Thailand). 4. If you stay longer than 90 days you have to report address. And for some study a new 90 day extension of stay would be required every 90 days at 1,900 baht. 5. To obtain visa it would have to be but don't know of any list. 6. Visa cost 2k single entry or 5k multi entry.
July 9, 201114 yr Most schools are certified by the Ministry of Education but not all schools offer an international program. What would you like to study?
