Billboard In Bangkok

Featured Replies

a friend of a friend posted this photo on their Facebook wall. What does it say? I've heard a few things so I guess the actual meaning (rather than the translations) could be ambiguous.

You don't have to signal a social conscience by looking like a frump. Lace knickers won't hasten the holocaust, you can ban the bomb in a feather boa just as well as without, and a mild interest in the length of hemlines doesn't necessarily disqualify you from reading Das Kapital and agreeing with every word. ~Elizabeth Bibesco

"We welcome the return of the man who cheated the (his) Country - former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has come home

(Message) from the people of Bangkok"

Obviously it's sarcasm.

Thank you Patrick, I must say I was rather surprised to see it.

I don't live in Bangkok but will be sure to look for these when next I am there.

LadyHeather รู้จัก photoshop รึเปล่าอ่ะ?!

^^ It's not photoshop mate, the billboard is real!

(but obviously the content on the billboard is photoshopped to add more words to the original picture used by People's Power Party a few years back)

Wow I didn't know it was real! O_o

So what you are saying is; it's not photoshopped, it's real, but it's photoshopped. Hmmm...

Like I said it's photoshopped, hence lady heather will not be able to "look for it the next time she is in Bangkok".
