Uniformed Police Officer shot by gang member in East Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A uniformed Police Officer was shot whilst investigating a gang of over 100 youths who had parked-up on Highway 36, East of Pattaya, in the early hours of Sunday. Police Senior Sergeant Major Tasapon, who was stationed at a Police Box in Nong Get Yai, was asked to investigate the gathering and used his personal car to check the group. As he drove past them one of the young men shot at his car twice.
