tort
Has anyone had any recent experience of applying for Treble Entry Tourist Visas from Birmingham or Hull consulates? Both consulates form downloads show availability and price for these but do they actually give them out?
Lite Beer
I do not see why they would not issue.
Mario2008
Contact them first and also check the validity of the visa with them. If it has to be used within 6 months it might not be worth it (depending on your actual travel plans).
tort
Thanks. I presume they are 6 month validity. I thought it would be better to get treble entry as I'll be based in Nong Khai so exit/entry is less hassle than (unguaranteed) extensions from the local immigration office. Lite Beer
Yes 6 months. The 30 day extension will be no problem. it is routinely given.
tort
Near the end of the 6 months is it still feasible to get a double entry visa from Vientiane to get another 2-3 months or is this one of the things they have clamped down on?
Maestro
You should make that border run not later than one day before the "enter before" or "must be utilized before" date shown on the visa.

With a 100% success rate, however this has all pertained to O-visas, before the clamp down. Presumably it should be the same with tourist visas, but I cannot confirm this. Understand that you're looking for confirmation, however it's quite easy to just send them and email and ask if they will do it?

soon2bexpat
I spoke to Hull earlier this week regarding visas, and the lady I spoke to said no problem getting a triple entry tourist visa issued. If you make an appointment they will even do it there and then.

Lite Beer
From Hull website. With a TWO or THREE entry Tourist Visa you must ensure you enter Thailand on your final visit before expiry of the visa which is 6 months from date of issue.
MTH
Thanks Lite Beer. I've seen it in their paperwork. Just wanted a confirmation from someone who's just received one. Have a friend that needs a new visa, and was planning on having him go this route.
Pattaya46
If it has to be used within 6 months it might not be worth it Why? Not sure to understand. Even with a 6 months validity, a triple-entry give you up to 9 months. Worth it I think.
