Hi there, I will be going to Chennai and was wondering if anyone else has flown there from BKK. If so, who did you fly with and would you fly with them again?

Just done it Thai air seems only diect flight , otherwise you go to Mumbai or Delhi and back to Cennai. The Indian immigration gave me a hard time. I had a 30 day visa and went to a wedding, however they wanted to know the phone number of my hosts although I gave them the address. Welcome to India !!!

I've done it probably 7-8 times, but not in the past year or so. The Thai flight I think is still the only/best option, but all the Thai airways flights require red eye flights on the India routes.

BTW, you might check Kingfisher, a great airline. Not sure if they have that route yet.
