Hi Guys,

I will be coming to Thai again next month (August) and my plans include getting wed to my beloved and beautiful Thai lady.

I am somewhat confused as to whether I need to apply for a tourist visa or any other type of visa to enable me to get married. I know all about the other documents I need, but I am not sure about my visa.

As I usually enter Thai from the UK using the visa exemption, is this sufficient to allow me to marry.

You can marry with any entry. No need for a Visa.

However, the local Amphur will require a letter from your Embassy verifying that you are free to marry.
