Hi All,

I've just been told that Chiang Mai immigration is closed until Tuesday. Does this mean Mae Sai is also closed?

Every Thai Immigration Office throughout Thailand will be closed Monday the 18th to observe the Holiday alternate observance date.

Open on Tuesday 19th. Offices will accept all documents due on the 18th submitted on the 19th without penalty as if they are turned in on the 18th.

If turned in on the 20th will be considered 2 days late.

So this means all border crossings as well?

No it does not mean that - border checkpoints will be open for crossings as normal.

I saw people and vehicles going through yesterday.
