Good Travel Agency In For Bkk-kathmandu Flights?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know a good website, travel agents in Bangkok or Pattaya for reasonably priced air tickets(preferably with Thai Airways) to Kathmandu. I have looked it up, but I am getting silly quotations...? :o ? Thanks.

So far, I have been quoted 22,000-24,000 baht by 3 travel agents and by the online Thai airways site... :o It is a bit steep for a 3.5 hr flight....Are there any travel agents specialising in Nepal or thai websites? :D

3 flights out of Bangkok to Kathmandu:

Biman airlines (bangladesh) with stop (overnight) in Dakka.....14,000 baht...

Royal Nepal airlines ...16,000 baht

Thai ..........22,000 baht

Thai crashed in 1990 in Kathmandu, Biman is not at all recommendable, and Royal Air Nepal has a fleet of 2 planes, with amazing pilots(no crashes), but their service is horrible and you are not sure to get on the plane even with a ticket due to overbooking....If it wasn't for the closed border in Myanmar, could ride a bike there...hopefully sometime in my lifetime :o , I guess its Thai Airways then...

I have used Thai to Kathmandu but a little expensive,

there is a new one called Air Nepal international - they have had a few good offers lately including two for one return tickets etc.
