Natural Cosmetics In Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Ive been using a company called Sabu sabu but am not really happy with what they put in and to be honest the results Ive been getting. Are there any other "genuine" organic/vegan cosmetic companies in Chiang Mai?

Ive tried the one on the bottom floor of Robinson but once again some of their ingrediants Id rather stay away from.

Royal Project has a large but somewhat unbalanced collection. Visit the Doi Kham store at the intersection of the Canal Road and Suthep Road. (North-West corner, so keep going on Suthep Road away from town past the intersection with the Canal Road and turn right into their parking lot immediately after the traffic lights.)

Thanks Winnie Ill check them out today.

Otherwise gonna have to order from US/UK and theres always a risk of being stung with import tax. Last time I sent a parcel to Spain it was 2000bt each end, of course each end blamed it on the other...:annoyed:

Doi Kham has a very small store with a very limited selection at Kantary Terrace as well.

There is a fairly decent stock of various organic/herbal shampoos/ lotions etc at the Northern Village in Central Airport as well, but it's fairly pricey.

You don't have to signal a social conscience by looking like a frump. Lace knickers won't hasten the holocaust, you can ban the bomb in a feather boa just as well as without, and a mild interest in the length of hemlines doesn't necessarily disqualify you from reading Das Kapital and agreeing with every word. ~Elizabeth Bibesco

I tried Northern village but once again they have ingrediants such as "borax" but named sodium borate in them. I have actually emailed a couple of companies who have stalls there and both have said they contain ingrediants that I'm avoiding.

Its sooo hard to find genuine natural/organic products as many use organic ingrediants but they then top add dangerous chemicals such as Titanium Dioxide, SLS, so it completely defeats the objective.

I honestly don't think this type of product exists in Thailand, but I hope so.....

Thanks, Ill shoot over there tomo and see what I can find.

Yep tried herb basics, marketed very well but not what they say at all. Out of all the places Ive tried HB is the worst for me.
