Renoir
Hi, Is it possible to rent a furnished apartment by the month? I wish to stay in Thailand in November, December and January or maybe February and leave went it gets too hot. Would I pay much more than if I was renting for a year? Do I have to pay many months in advance? Thanks, Renoir
hellodolly
Depends on the location and your bargaining skills. Yes you can rent by the month.
Bubbalicious
Yes, lots of places you can rent by the month. Usually the more popular ones want at least a 3 month stay, so you should be just fine. Rent typically runs from 3,000 (some places less) up to 10-15,000 depending on the location and facilities. There are some threads here with recommendations if you search for them. JomtienEats
Here's a map with half a dozen or so serviced apartments. Some have websites with prices, some not. http://www.pattayaplaces.com/map/Three_Kings_Monument&zoom=13&filter=serviced It's a wikimap, so if anyone knows of others, please feel free to add. moe666
If staying in Chiang mai try Smith Residence, it is clean and very well run.
