Some Sort Of Mole Grew On Me. What Is It?

Featured Replies

Some sort of mole grew on me for the past 2 years. It was previously not there. It's quite a little bump right now. It has developed near my pubic hair area. Is there anything I should be concerned about? I am below 30 years old. Also, I had smaller non bumpy moles appear throughout my body which I could have sworn wasn't there before. Some even appeared on my face.

Yep, head for the dermatologist. I had an odd looking mole (I thought it was a mole) growing very near to the hairline on my forehead. The doctor checked it out and told me that it was a wart. Did the freeze it off thing and now it is gone.

Please don't do what Alice advises...

See a dermatologist; skin lesions need to be inspected to be able to make ANY sensible comment on the nature and management..

I would also recommend a dermatologist that has worked outside Thailand (or you taking a proactive stance to check closely) as it seems there is a much higher likelihood of skin cancer for non Thai. Dermatologists here seem much more involved with cosmetic issues and may not biopsy as often as they should.
