I have some scrap gold which consists of

A. 10K man's ring which onyx has cracked, stone removed

B. 18K woman's small pendant w/ smallish sapphire of unknown quality, stone is channel set

C. Some other scrap gold piece I can't recall at home in the safety box

Don't know what I will do with the stone. I also have a nice diamond about .20/.25tcw. I think it too small for a wedding ring. The sapphire is oblong/round and the diamond round. Stones don't mix although I could buy a similar diamosnd and set it w/ the sapphire in middle.

It possible to have the 10K mixed with 24K = 18K and then mix that to the pendant? Would that make sense?

Can scrap be mixed and measured or heated to produce 24k gold easily here in So E Asia?

Is it possible to have the yellow gold made to white? The 10K appears mixed with silver, not brass. 18k pendant is very yellow.

What about having this done in Lao (Talat Sao) or Phnom Penh (Psah Toul Thom PIong) while wait/watch?

Thanks

Not sure what can be done and what can't, I know as you problably do that most Thai's would not thank you for anything under 24k (well 23K) I'm sure someone would be willing to melt them all down again not sure how they seperate when in molten form?

Good luck

Then you have to be sure you get back all the gold you gave them without any siphoned off the side....and the gems......real ones back ??

I have a lump of gold and some opals that i would like made into something....but dont trust this lot here to not scam it.
