Visa Labyrinth!

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am travelling to Thailand on Tuesday, from the UK. I have a return flight booked giving o total of 35 days.

I have got a single entry tourist Visa for Thailand

But if I read in between the lines. Taking into consideration Visa Exemption, Could I theoretically travel out of Thailand by land to Laos/Cambodia/Singapore etc. Then return to Thailand by land and be given another 15 days.

Then stay in Thailand for a while, travel to another country by Land before the 15 days are over. And then return to Thailand again?

Making sure my return flight is less than 15 days away from the last entry?

And also taking proof of return flight at every re entry.

Thankyou. Any help appreciated

As long as your nationality is visa exempt that should work - they have not been checking for onward tickets at land crossings in any case. There is no land border with Singapore however.

Why do you need to leave if you have a single entry tourist visa good for 60 days plus 30 day extension. Your flight out is 35 days which still leave you 25 days on visa without extension.

Just to travel to other countries, definitely want to see what Cambodia and Laos has to offer.

Yes you can come and go on 15 day land entries but you will lose your tourist visa without a re-entry permit but that doesn't seem to matter. have fun

Lots of ground to cover in 35 days
