Chinese tourists allege robbery in Pattaya-bound Taxi

PATTAYA: -- A group of 10 Chinese nationals made a complaint at Pattaya police station that each one of them had been robbed of a substantial amount of money. The 10 people said they had hired a minivan in Bangkok to take them for a weekend of partying in Pattaya. On the way down they told officers they had stopped a couple of times to look at tourist-oriented sights. After arriving at their hotel, the tourists had gone to their rooms and it was only then they noticed a lot of money had gone missing from their bags.
