I, along with probably many others, take my hat and hair off to Rico for a beyond, splendid spread yesterday...it was out of this world. I had only made my first visit there a week and a half ago and he came up to our table, introduced himself, asked how everything was, then invited my wife and I to come to his shindig yesterday. Living in Phayao, I do not get up to CR that often, but I managed to put several errands together and ventured back up and am I glad I did. Again, hats off to Rico! Another fine eatery in N. Thailand that merits mention and recommendation. ett

Congratulations on finding him open.

Maybe he should post his hours here, it always seems to closed when I call by.

He probably sees you coming.

jubby does me the same way. The only time I can catch him at home is when I climb over the back fence and just "appear" in his sitting area. Otherwise, I find the gate locked, the lights off and not a sound. But jubby's little dog always gives them away because he sits there by the front door, grinning, wagging his tail and looking from me to inside the house, trying to figure out the game. I can always tell when jubby shushes him because he wags his little tail faster.

Edit: The dog's little tail, not jubby's.

I seem to recall he's closed on Mondays. Maybe Sunday also. its an afternoon sort of place, 2pm onwards.

I believe the restaurant is open most times. Sure there's a Opening times sign outside.

I think Tuesday and Fridays are his busiest days.

I believe he was celebrating an expansion or remodel or something....I couldn't tell, as it was just my second time in less than two weeks to go there, so it all looked pretty much the same to me. But he served up two suckling piglets that were just scrumptious beyond words. And all the side dishes, too many to count...it was a feast indeed! I think the pigs may have even been Kosher....raised by rabbis. All I know is I get a lot of moo in Phayao, but never, ever anything like that! Thanks again, Rico and congratulations. ett
