Debothai
I am currently in UAE for a short visit to settle my affairs in the country then I move to Thailand. I have a multiple entry non-O marriage visa and a work permit. While re-entering Thailand I will most likely obtain another 3 month stay and I will also try to get it extended to one year...I am also sending off my personal gear to Thailand by sea freight. What is the visa status impact during the cargo receiving procedure? I am the shipper and consignee. I am currently employed in Thailand and I am living with my wife and our baby. Mario2008
You can only import household effects duty free during the first year of your stay, while on an extension of stay which you are currently not. More information on the Thai customs website.
