The bag was retrieved thanks to some superior detective work.

A 10-minute search for the bag proved fruitless until an officer noticed a nearby taxi motorbike driver acting in what he called a strange manner. He must have been doing something really weird to have looked out of the ordinary, but the policeman’s hunch proved correct when a search of the 38-year-old man revealed not only the contents of the aforementioned handbag but also a couple of packets of the Class 5 drug marijuana.

Big win for the Plod, thieves, motocy taxi driver and a drug charge.
