Makings of the new ‘Yingluck Government’

BANGKOK, 7 August 2011 (NNT)- Sources from the Pheu Thai Party indicates that the ‘Yingluck Government’ will push Thaksin Shinawatra’s Royal Military Academy Prep-School classmate Sukumpol Suwannadat as Minister of Transport. The ex-Deputy Commander in Chief of the Air Force was destined to be the next boss for the Thai air force back in September 2006. His promotion was however preemptively intervened by the Coup.

For the position of Deputy Prime Minister for economic affairs, Ms Yingluck has previously reserved M.R. Pridiyathorn Devakula for the spot, however the offer had been turned down. As for other new positions in the new household, Police Captain Chalerm Yubamrung had been destined as Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Yongyut Vichaidit Minister of Interior, Mr. Terachai Puwanatanaranubal Minister of Finance, Captain Anudit Nakorntap Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mr. Pichai Nariptaphan Minister of Energy, and Mr. Chaikasem Nitisiri Minister of Justice.

In addition, Mr. Boonsong Tariyapirom was proposed as Minister of Education, Col. Apiwan Viriyachai as Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Tanis Tientong as Deputy Interior Minister, and Mr. Chulabong Nonsrichai as Minister of Foreign Affairs. As for the Minister of Commerce, Kittirat Na Ranong is still fit for the role, however he will have to contest with Mr.Padermchai Sasomsup.

Moreover, Mr. Sontaya Khunpleum, Leader of the Phulangchon Party had been nominated as the new Minister of Culture, but had proposed his wife Ms.Sukumol to fulfill the duties instead.

It might be my suspicious mind, but this sounds a lot like getting another family snout in the trough.:ermm:

I'm waiting for "My brother had nothing to do with the selection of his old mate.............."
