What'S The Best Path To Take To Stay In Thailand For A Year?

Featured Replies

So me and my girlfriend want to get to Thailand for at least a year and we were wondering what's the best path to take to stay in Thailand for at least a year? What kind of visas should we try an get? Will it be a case of no matter what visa we get we'll still always be boarder hopping?

Ireland

We already answered you in your previous topic yesterday (which is on page 2 if you could not find it). Three entry tourist visa is likely the best you can obtain without other commitments.

Yes I would agree with that . It will give you 9 months then you can do a visa run for the last 3 months .

Basically yes -- you will always be border-hopping unless you have a better reason to be in Thailand, like a job or "proper" family - and even then they sometimes make you run around a bit B)

Thailand - like most countries in the world - likes to keep an eye on who they let in. Take a look at what would happen to a thai wanting to stay in Ireland for a year :whistling:

Enjoy your stay - it's a wonderful place and you will take some great memories back to the auld sod <_<

the path less travelled.....that will make all the difference!
