Muddled Thinking

I normally refrain from comment/criticism of the affairs of sovereign states not my own - it is their business. The present minor furore about the EU decision to ban import of Thai prawms on the grounds of possible health risk is I think my business as an EU citizen. It appears that Thailand cannot afford airbus aircraft unless they can trade prawns in payment. If the EU maintains their position Thai threaten to switch their order to Boeing. This will not sell prawns to the EU so how do Thai pay Boeing?

What ever could the health risk be,all the ponds that I have seen where shrimps are farmed seemed to be OK,the water was just good clean runoff from the rains and some ground water seepage, and as everyone knows, the cess pools and open runoff of waste water is no big problem..
