I went to Ban Laem for my visa run last week.. Just to report that they wanted my phone number on the TM card too.

Obviously i gave a false one.

That has been asked for several years now when submitting TM.7 form for extension of stay - I always have it entered on rear top and officer always smiles as they know I anticipated there next request.

But why would you give a false Phone Number???

After my last extension they phoned me a week later , they said when they were reviewing the paperwork they found they hadnt stamped the extension date on my paperwork and was concerned that they had missed it on my passport too, asked me to check and let them know and if it was the case to call in with my passport at my convenience.

In my case, Immigration has accepted an E-mail address instead of a phone number.

If it a requirement they should add it to the forms.
