As I previously had an unlimited package of Edge and not surprisingly didn't use much over 100 hours in entire month on expiry I didn't load money to a level of unlimited cost.

Have now activated 100 hour package for second month.

My query though is does the 100 hours expire after one month (assuming there was any hours left) or any time left is valid indefinately, or at least up until the "valid" date on checking balance via a mobile ??

So at the moment my AIS Sim tells me valid until 16/01/12 via mobile check-so have I got 100 hours effectively up to that date ?

Yes, the hours expire each month. There is no roll over.

Ok Thanks.

So pointless oversubscibing as was going to do 250 hour package. If you're going to lose excess after one month no reason to do so.

How do you check remaining hours-I tried talking to AIS service rep but my accent is so broad West Country that only people south of Bristol can understand......

If it is postpaid use the dialer and call *911*1# . If prepaid I don't know how to check remaining time.

Yes prepaid ?? Saw the number listed on a thread before but can't find it.

For most people a volume-based plan is better than a time-based one. The equivalent plan would be 1 GB (350 baht/month).

*121# gives remaining balance and current expiration date.

*139# gives SMS.ISMS.MMS EDGE/GPRS time or GB remaining.

You can check current account status using eServices.

You should receive a service message ~ 2 days before your monthly recurring data plan is due to expire reminding you that it will be renewed. This gives you a heads up to make sure you have enough balance remaining to cover the next 30 days. You'll also get a service message when the plan is renewed.
