I will be 60 in October and I am looking for interesting places to visit. For my birthday last year I visited Kanchanaburi and had a great time. The Tiger Temple, Cave exploring and hiking up the mountain to see all the waterfalls, the train ride as well as all the historical sites from WWII were all great experiences. Sleeping in a hotel room that floated on the river was also a treat. I have been to Auythaya, Bang Seng, Sukothai, Chang Mai, Hua Hin, Arranyapet, Suphan Buri, Nikhom Rachasima as well as many other smaller cities but none of them compared to Kanchanaburi. Any suggests on where I could visit that would give me an interesting experience like I had in Kachanaburi?

Well, you have done the center and north of Thailand. Why not try the south this time? :)

When you were in CM, did you explore around that area? Pai, Mae Hong Son, Tha Ton, etc? Some great places to see for sure.

I would reccomend Koh Chang. Beautiful and Clean.
