Who Can Certify My Misses Docs

Featured Replies

My wife and kids (thai) are applying for their thai passports. We need to have her docs certified at the Thai passport office by somebody, but I cannot find out who. She could do this with a phone call but we are leaving to do this at 6:30 in the morning, if she can do it that's fine, if a teacher can do it that's fine too, any body else and we will need to reschedule. I have put this on this topic as I didn't think it qualified for the visa forum.

Cheers in advance

Your wife's passport doesn't need certification, only the passports of the children will need certificattion, in the sense that both parents must sign the passport application of a child. If you are the legal parent you and your wife just sign the application together, that is all..

See: http://www.mfa.go.th/web/473.php?id=3167

applying wil take about 30 minutes. Cost is 1,000 baht per passport. For 35 baht they will send it by EMS to your home address.

They can get all the infomation off your wifes I D card

My kids were born in Australia and they only needef a Thai issued birth certificate for a passport [Thai.[ Wife ID should do the lot.As long as you registered the birth of the kids. Much better service here than in the UK or OZ I have to say. Jim
