actually i m going to india as i have written in my previous thread and on my way want to stay in bangkok for 2-3 days. We are going with ffamly and having more than 10 luggages with us.

what we r looking is that after getting visa on arrival can we just deposit our some luggages at some place on airport like a safe deposit boxes and get them back while returning. Actually we r going there for tourist purposes and just want to take 2-3 luggaes with us so that we dont have to take any tension of other stuff.

Is there any kind of service available at bankok airport

There is a left luggage room on the third floor (departures) of Terminal 2. It's open 24 hours. The charge is 90 baht per bag per day. (There may well be another left luggage room somewhere in the two international terminals but this is the one that I always use.)

There is a couple of left luggage offices. They charge per item, but you hand over the case and it goes in the room out the back, no locker for you to use. Have used it a few times without any problems.

Ditto...

There are at least 2 places...have used them from time to time to leave excess luggage whilst I went off to Samui...very convenient.

They didn't like taking my guitar though - something about insurance!?!?!

BE CAREFULL

I took a trip to Cambodia and bought quite a few bits and pices I did not want to carry around with me for the rest of my visit to thailand. I left them at one of the left luggage offices at BKK airpoort until I was flying home. They lost the bag. It turned up but not before I had visited a number of the luggage offices around the airport and had to go through to the back rooms themselves looking for my bag! Fortunately we checked in early so I had sufficient time to do this.
