100 Baht Check In Fee?

anyone else received this?

I received one from the UK office and they were quoting GBP 2.00

Like most budget airlines they will seek to save costs wherever they ca. Getting passengers to check in online achieves. There is (virtually) no reason why anyone should not be able to check in online.

Not an unreasonable move in my book - the only loss is that those of us who check in online lose any 'advantage' we may have had over passengers who didn't - soon they will all be baggage drop counters.

There is another thread running about this new fee. Maybe the two should be merged?

Sophon

I had a (UK) email this morning. It worried me slightly in that you may not have access to the 'net a few hours before departure but from the diagram on their website it looks as though you can check in as soon as you've bought your ticket.
