I live in Soi 33 but have transport, I'm looking for a gym with in 5km really nothing fancy just some weights and a treadmill.

There's a nice friendly gym down on Chok Chai 4, Soi 23. It's called GetFit Center. Just search for their website.

They have quite good equipment and also a 25m swimming pool.

I am quite lucky. I live in Lat Phrao, Soi 27 and my condo has a gym with weights, treadmill and a few other machines.
